One of the greatest gifts of the Sausalito is community is the generosity of its people. SCC CARES is fortunate to have over 1200 members and friends who bring remarkable capacity and willingness to the table — whether through a financial contribution that preserves the barge, a few hours of volunteer time to improve the City, a seat on a committee, or simply by spreading some positive words about what we’re building. There is no gift too small, no engagement too modest. Every act of support moves our mission forward & keeps the spirit of Club alive for another generation.

Charter Members are the founding supporters of SCC CARES — the members who stepped forward first and made our mission possible. By joining the 1948 Club, you become part of the Foundation’s origin story, your name permanently recognized among those who believed in the mission before it had a track record to point to.

*Charter Membership is available for a founding contribution of $1,948.00 — a tribute to the Club’s founding year 1948. Membership is open to the first 30 donors.

Annual Giving

Every tax-deductible gift to SCC CARES — at any level — directly supports our mission to preserve the barge, educate our youth, and serve the community of Sausalito. As we start up in 2026, donations are made through our fiscal sponsor, the Sausalito Historical Society, while our 501(c)(3) determination is pending.
